Q: When does club registration start and end? A: Club registration opens from start of January until end of February, after that registrations will only be accepted if space available in teams. See more details on registration page.
Q: At what age can my child start playing for Medowie FC? A: If your child is turning 5 or older in the calendar year they can start playing.
Q: What other costs are there besides registration fee? A: If players don't already have club playing shorts and socks they will need to be purchased from the club.
Q: What night/time is training? A: Teams will select training night and time at the Muster day. See Calendar page for more details, usually early March.
Q: When does the Season start and end? A: Season usually runs from late April until early September depending on the competition.
Q: What days are games played? A: Mainly the following days apply; U5-U11 Sat, U12-U18 mixed Sat, Girls Sun Snr Fri - Mon depends on competition Zone Sat or Sun afternoon Possible mid week fixtures for rescheduled games. Season draw is usually released about 2 weeks before season start.
Q: What clubs will Medowie FC play against? A: This is determined by Newcastle Football after teams are submitted. In general U5-U7 play in a Port Stephens group, U8-U11 play clubs in Newcastle Football, U12 and up play clubs from across Newcastle Football, Macquarie Football and Hunter Valley Football.
Q: How can I request my child play with their friend? A: Please submit a Team Request. This can be found under the Contact Us menu.
Q: Why does my registration still say "Pending Approval"? A: Registrations won't be approved until after teams are organised. If you have received this message you have completed the online registration.
Q: I'm not able to register in the age group my child wants to play in? A: Registrations amounts are set based on players age not the team they play in. eg if U11 but playing in U12 still only have to pay U11 registration.
